Project Description

Stabilization and conservation of clock tower included: Documenting the condition of the complex and establishing a master conservation plan, / Focus was predominantly on the synagogue’s clock tower, a prominent feature that rises 45 feet and dates from 1761.

The conservation work  included repairs to unsound masonry and replacement of rotted structural elements / Cleaning and painting of the clock tower, installation of a mechanism to replace missing mechanical clock works, and re-hanging the large brass bell.
